Meet the Prewitts

Senior Pastor, Rev. Cody Prewitt, and His wife, Kenzie Prewitt

Cody was born and raised in Starkville, MS. After completing a double major in Public Relations and Philosophy & Religion at Mississippi State, Cody answered the call to ministry. He solidified that call at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where he received a Master of Divinity degree. In May of 2025, Cody was ordained as an Elder in the Global Methodist Church.

While in seminary, Cody met his beautiful wife, Kenzie, while serving together in ministry. In November of 2025, Cody and Kenzie were married. Kenzie is finishing up seminary herself right now and will graduate from Beeson Divinity School with a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. The two have a passion for serving and tending to the people of the church.

Cody has many passions in ministry, such as pastoral care, forming disciples, and cultivating a strong church identity. He also enjoys his free time hanging out with friends, playing video games, cooking, and relaxing with their dogs (Brodie and Harper) and their cats (Sirius and Collins). Cody and Kenzie cannot wait to get to know you and your family!
